Woodland Research Northwest
Founded in 2008, Woodland Research Northwest serves as the second location in Arkansas for Woodland International Research Group, offering both inpatient and outpatient research clinic services. Located in Rogers, just three hours away from the group’s headquarters in Little Rock, the clinic conducts a comprehensive range of Early Phase (I/Ib) and Late Phase (II/III) trials.
Specializing in psychiatric and Alzheimer’s Disease research, Woodland Research Northwest also facilitates trials across various general medical indications. Over the years, the site has evolved into a reputable and esteemed unit, providing vital access to research studies in a crucial region of the country. With a population nearing 500,000, the area is significantly underserved by the research community.

Our Clinical Research Facilities
Rogers, AR Location
- 12,000 square foot research facility designed for comfort and safety of clinical trial participants
- 12-bed individual room unit providing privacy and comfort
- 18-bed PK unit designed for long PK (pharmacokinetic) days
- Equipped with emergency care systems and amenities such as a full kitchen and game room with a pool table
- Nursing station located within the unit for continuous patient monitoring
- Proximity to Washington Regional Medical Center ensures quick access to full emergency services
- Utilization of a validated environmental monitoring system to ensure quality and integrity of pharmacy room temperatures, refrigerated/frozen drugs, and stored samples
- Strategic placement of security cameras inside and outside the facility for continuous monitoring, 24/7
- Alarmed entry and exit doors, including fire exits, equipped with audible sirens for controlled access
- Strict separation between volunteer inpatient and outpatient areas secured with locked doors accessible only by authorized staff
- Protection provided by a standby 40k watt natural gas generator, ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the event of a power outage from Arkansas Power & Light
- Utilization of a central Institutional Review Board (IRB) for streamlined regulatory submissions
